PANÓPTICO significa “el lugar desde donde se ve todo”. Michel Foucault popularizó el significado que dio a la palabra su inventor Jeremy Bentham: un observatorio desde donde vigilar una cárcel. Foucault lo integró en su idea del saber cómo manifestación del poder.
